BGRG8 Albertgasse, Schulschachteam

Latest evidence

A team of the school played in the Wiener Schachschülerliga, the school chess league of the Wiener Schachverband, in 2 league rounds of the 2024/25 season whose round-1 date the results server prints; the card cites them: 17 February 2025 (lower secondary (Unterstufe), second-chance round (Hoffnungsrunde) 2024/25, team ranking, printed «BGRG8 Albertgasse»); 10 April 2025 (lower secondary (Unterstufe), final 2024/25, final ranking, printed «BGRG8 Albertgasse»). In the qualifying and second-chance rounds the pupils are paired one by one and each school is ranked as a team in the round’s team ranking; the finals are team tournaments. A team letter (A, B), an added level (OS, US) or a changed spelling does not make another school. The school directory of the Bildungsdirektion für Wien lists the school at Albertgasse 18-22, 1080 Wien. The results pages are the only chess trace; no page of the school about chess was opened, so the entry stays unconfirmed. The card records the school’s team, not a session open to visitors.
